Coaching Requirements

We need requirements completed right away so that our governing league ENYYSA can approve coaches and send ID cards.

It is state law mandated, for the safety of your player, that all volunteers who are on the field will need to check/complete the following every season. Once you take the courses you will understand why it is required.

  1. Every season, fill out the current season volunteer registration form.
  2. Login to GotSport.com and complete Bi-annual Requirements in your dashboard. Each coach must have their own Gotsport account.

    2. Headshot Upload a current passport style photo in gotsport
    3. Background Check Expires June 1st every 2 years
    4. Safe Sport need to take one short refresher course every year after June 1st (You may need to click “check records” in got sport first then complete on uscenterforsafesport.org
    5. Heads Up (Concussion Protocol) Expires June 1st every 2 years
    6. CPR/AED Certification every 2 years. Summited to https://system.gotsport.com/forms/78975038V
    7. Know the MVSC Emergency Action Plan
  3. Club Coaches Meeting each season
  4. Club Coaches Training each season (We will update our program as coaches and players progress)
  5. Elite Teams Coaches will need to complete the US Soccer Grass Roots Certificate
  6. Wear your coach badge to every event.

If all of the above are not completed by the beginning of the season, then you will not be able to coach.

Check Coaching Requirements

Each coach needs to have their own account. You cannot share a family account (Accept Youth Coaches)

  1. Log into  to Gotsport.com
  2. Click on the “Dashboard” button on top left under the GotSport Logo
  3. You should now see “Minisink Youth Soccer” window
    1. In this window you will see Requirements
  4. For Requirements that are marked “Expired” in Red, click on “Details” to start courses or complete registrations
  5. You must pay for the background check (we are working on getting the club to pay it)
  6. You will also need to submit to the club a CPR/AED trained certificate
