Communication & Roster

All communication will be provided through Gotsport.com and the “Gotsport Team App“. It is important that you do not opt out of these two email services or you will not receive important information during the season or for signing up for the next.

After registration closes, and teams are formed, you will be assigned a team in GotSport with a roster and match schedule. All teams and training/match schedules will be in the “Gotsport Team App” for communication purposes. Desktop versions are best for initial setup.

Gotsport Teams App

During the season you will be using the “Gotsport Team App” to communicate with the club and your team. You can download the “Gotsport Team App” from your app store and you can use the web version at: https://teamapp.gotsport.com/ Your login credentials will be the same as your gotsport account that you used to register for the season. You MUST use the same credentials for it to work.

Your responsibilities are to teach kids the importance of being a team player and part of a greater community. This includes:

  • You post your player’s availability for all events in Gotspot Team App
  • You arrive early for each event
  • You notify your coach of any injury or illness
  • You notify your coach of any medical conditions, such as asthma, prior concussions, etc. on the medical forms.
  • You are committed to the full season
  • You encourage your player to give their best at all training and games as their team is counting on them
  • You and your player are respectful to all volunteers and paid staff

Division Commissioner

For recreation, each division in TeamSnap will have a Division Commissioner who acts as the liaison between the MVSC Board, Coaching Director, and the coaches. The commissioner ensures that coaches receive all communications and adhere to the club’s policies and training guidelines. Division Commissioners will run all division training to help support coaches and to ensure training continues regardless of coaches availability.  Please contact them if you have any issues. If you would like to volunteer as a Division Commissioner please contact the Board.
